FAQs

  • An orthopedic assessment takes a comprehensive look at how your body moves, identifying muscle tightness, imbalances, or movement restrictions that may be contributing to your joint or muscle pain. I also incorporate many of the same orthopedic tests used by orthopedic and sports medicine doctors to help pinpoint the root of the issue.

  • Nope! That’s the beauty of my model—you don’t need to see your doctor first. You can come straight to me and start your road to recovery right away!

  • Most people walk out feeling better than when they walked in—which might sound like a magic bullet, but the real progress comes from doing the homework I give you to keep feeling better long-term.

  • I take a truly holistic approach to care. I begin by assessing your nervous system and visceral system to identify any protective patterns that may be contributing to your movement restrictions or pain. From there, I use a range of techniques—such as eye movement exercises and gentle soft tissue work—to help clear those patterns. Once your body is better regulated, we can more effectively address the specific area of concern.
